ABOUT
Established in the 1830's, Bellevue is known as the oldest city in Nebraska and was originally a simple trading post for the Missouri Fur Company. The city's name is the French word for "beautiful view". Today, Bellevue has over 65,000 residents making it the third largest city in Nebraska and is located just South of Omaha off of Highway 75. Bellevue is also home to Bellevue Public Schools and Offutt Air Force Base.
THINGS TO DO
Explore the outdoors at Fontenelle Forest Nature Center or play a round of golf at Tregaron Golf Course or Willow Lakes Golf Course. Looking for a unique activity? Try out a smash room at Le Smash! Locally owned and operated Bellevue Berry Farm is a popular fall attraction. Some of our favorite restaurants are: Stella's, Roma Italian, Sickies Garage and Umami. The main office for Castle and Assosciates with American Family Insurance is also in Bellevue.
