Dundee & Happy Hallow
ABOUT
Dundee & Happy Hallow are historic districts and neighborhoods in Omaha, NE located from 46th to 52nd Streets and between Leavenworth St. to the South and Hamilton St. to the North. Developed in 1880, Dundee is known as "Omaha's First Suburb" and the homes in this area were built purposefully to showcase a variety of unique styles of homes. Fun Fact: This area is home to the Oracle of Omaha: Warren Buffett and was the childhood neighborhood of actor Henry Fonda and filmmaker Alexander Payne.
THINGS TO DO
The center of Dundee, 50th and Underwood, is where you will find incredible eateries and shops. Some of our favorites are: Pitch Pizzeria (try the Basil Pesto Chicken pizza!), Amsterdam Falafel & Kabob, eCreamery Ice Cream & Gelato, and Avoli Osteria. A keystone event for the area is Dundee Day, a family friendly street festival and parade in August.
