Elkhorn is a neighborhood in Western Omaha that goes from Dutch Hall Rd to Fort Street from 180th to 252nd Streets. The main corridor through Elkhorn is 204th Street. Fun Fact: Elkhorn was once an independent city in Nebraska but in 2007 the city was annexed by Omaha. Today, Elkhorn is booming with residential and commercial new construction development.
THINGS TO DO
Elkhorn is home to Elkhorn Public Schools, Indian Creek Golf Club, Ta-Ha-Zouka Park, and Dairy Chef. Since Elkhorn was previously it's own city, it does have a downtown area on Main Street. Some of our favorite places in Olde Towne Elkhorn are: Bella Vita, Juke's Ale Works, Maximo's Cantina, and Fala's Treasures & Coffee House.
